As the largest generation in history begins to get older, one thing has become clear: When it comes to where they want to live, the suburbs won't cut it for millennials. And guess what? Millennials don't feel a need to stay in the U.S. This nomadic generation is willing to look far and wide for the best the world has to offer.
The apartment-searching website Nestpick recently issued a comprehensive list of the best cities around the world for millennials. For its "Millennials Cities Ranking," the company compared thousands of places to come up with a list of top spots. The data points were based on 16 factors, including employment offerings, startup culture, cost of living, gender equality, access to decent healthcare, access to public transportation, internet speed and more. Nestpick also threw in some fun factors, like the price of beer and the number of Apple stores per capita.

The tourism ranking was calculated based on the number of overnight stays in each city for ages 18 to 35 years, using data from the World Tourism Organization.
